The Bachelor(ette) Challenge

PART 3

So, let's look at Belinda's relationship scores with the remaining guys now:

And it's...not what you might've thought! Despite the fact that R. Daneel was the only one to reject her advances this morning, it turns out that J'onn J'onnz, our alien contestant, just hasn't spent enough time with Belinda to get those points up. Too bad, J'onn--hope you enjoyed your stay!

So John changes back into his dignified spacesuit (or modified Green Lantern costume, whatever) while nearly everyone else gathers around to wave goodbye, but...what's this? Aren't there a couple of people missing? Where's our star during this important scene?

WHERE ELSE? Did I mention I have ACR? This kind of thing is exactly why--why have an ordinary matchmaking challenge with nothing but kisses and decorous flirts, when you can go for full-blown SLEAZE?
;)
Ah, but don't assume this automatically means Jack has won and there's no point in continuing the contest--it's not about who gets to bed her first, it's about relationship scores. And those...can change.

Then Jack decided to celebrate by going ice-skating. You know, I'm just glad that on THIS contest lot, the characters actually NOTICE all the fun stuff I put in for them. I gave them a swimming pool on the "Farmer Wants a Wife" challenge lot and everybody seemed to have a blind spot regarding the entire backyard.

Then, later on this evening, I was supposed to have the Lonely Sim do a "chess date" with each of the remaining contestants, playing for one hour each--but I COMPLETELY FORGOT to take even one picture, grr. Ah, well. Nothing all that interesting happened anyway, aside from Reggie hanging around and constantly trying to take the other seat after he'd already had his turn. The whole point is merely to make the Bachelorette spend some one-on-one time with each guy to build relationship scores, anyway. And it did. Also she ended up with about 4 Logic Skill points, and every guy got at least one. Cool.

So we skip ahead to later that night, where Belinda goes to sleep and...hey, wait! Reggie, you sly dog! No, they didn't woo-hoo, he just felt like sleeping in the same bed. And cuddling up to her.
...you may notice she didn't kick him out, though.

And Buddy got a strike in his midnight bowling game. Oh--what a feeeling! TOY-O-TA!
(...whenever I see a Sim do that YES! leaping with their fist in the air victory-pose thing, I can't help but remember those stupid Toyota commercials from my childhood--which ended with the whole family gathered in front of the car/truck doing that pose, in freeze-frame. Heh.)

Breakfast time! Everybody ignored breakfast so long that it went off and R. Daneel served another meal...then they started eating the rotten blueberry pancakes anyway. Whatever. If you guys get food poisoning, it's your own lookout.

And then Reggie found the sauna, which he spent most of the day in. Um...you sure that's a good idea, seeing as how your flesh is already like, kinda squishy, what with you being a zombie 'n' all?

The "Date Room" (built just now, in case you're wondering why you didn't see it before)--a seperate building surrounded by a swimming pool "moat". This is a strategy suggested by many other simmers--if you want the couple to have some chance at privacy during the "dates" part of the contest, make a seperate building and surround it with pool. Why? This way, your Lonely Sim can at least TRY the romantic interactions she's supposed to go for, according to that day's official rules, with each remaining contestant, without being instantly interrupted.

Oh and the seperate little building in front is the sauna. Yay.

Anyway! Day Four rules:
"Morning dates--have your Lonely Sim do one flirt, one hug and one "Do you like what you see?" with each of your remaining Single Sims."

Buddy's up first--he rejected the Caress, but caught her when she tried to Leap Into his Arms and Belinda strikes a sassy pose with "So...do you like what you see?"
"Yeah, you really apply that makeup well! I bet you'd be a real dog without it!" :P
(Hey, how do we know he DIDN'T say that? He's speaking Simlish!)

I gave all the contestants the same turn-ons--brown hair and makeup--so that, regardless of different aspirations or personalities, they'd all have SOME chance of being attracted to her. And then, of course, I made sure Belinda had brown hair and put on some makeup. Her turn-ons are Charisma and Fitness, the first of which is not likely during a contest that involves nothing to do with learning Charisma, but the second of which--fitness--is available to ALL contestants--they just have to choose to excercise. Which ones do or don't is random! And therefore more fun.

Flirting with Jack seems a bit redundant at this point as THEY ALREADY FREAKING WOO-HOOED, but rules are rules. He (unsurprisingly) is flattered by her serenade, is plenty happy to be Squeezed by her and also likes makeup. Oh, and they just made Best Friends. Next!

Raistlin rejects the Caress but likes brown hair...he accepted the hug but I forgot to get a picture of it. Next!

NO. No touchie. R. Daneel is the first one to reject her hug...
...and she looks so crushed...
...seems about ready to accept her offer of a...(waggles eyebrows) "tune up"...
...but then stalks away. DUDE, a scantily-clad babe gets you all alone, tries to hug you and offers to "tune up" your "motor"...and you reject her? You SUCK at Romance Simming.
...I STILL wanna see what the "tune up" flirt actually does. :P
Oh and he did Like what he Saw, but they all have the same turn-ons so that's not interesting and I didn't get a picture of it.

I...completely forgot to take any pictures of Reggie's "date"! The heck? Man, I'm sorry...I really shouldn't try to do a challenge all in one night, when I'm worn out and in a hurry to finish. I think his date mostly went well, aside from the Caress, or something. If something eventful like another crush had happened, I would've taken a picture of that, so I'm assuming not much happened.

It's now noon so it's time to look at the scores and see--who's leaving next, and who still has a chance? Find out on the NEXT: Bachelorette Challenge!
