All About Regina Moonbrooke

Who is this odd and extremely talky person who made this page? you may be wondering. Well, first off, "Regina Moonbrooke" isn't my REAL name (like duh), but what my real name _is_, I ain't gonna tell ya as this is the _Internet_, for pete's sake, and I'm not insane. :P Regina is, as you can see from the above picture, my "best" character ever in the game Princess Maker 2--the first time I got the best (most difficult) ending--the Ruling Queen. The name itself, well, "Regina" means "Queen" which is what I hoped she would (eventually, once I learned how to play the game better) become, and Moonbrooke is from the old NES game "Dragon Warrior 2"--one of the three main characters, the Princess of Moonbrooke, comes from there. _Princess_ of Moonbrooke--"Princess Maker"--get it? :)
Regina's name has become, pretty much, my permanent screen-name in "Princess Maker" circles...which may be small, but they do exist, and I needed a name. If you see a "Regina Moonbrooke" at the messageboards at KKPMC.net, that's me. I freely admit it. (As if anybody else has my incredibly long-winded writing style, anyway! :P)
Other names you may know me by on the 'net include: Captain Chaotica!! (my most widely-used one), Chaos Theory T. Echidna, Lady Keela Shanri (in Babylon 5 circles), Teriyaki (when around Ranma 1/2 fans), Robin Chestefield or sometimes Eskarina Smith on "Discworld" and Dr. Clayton Forrester in the MST3K crowd. I may be one of Princess Maker's newest fans, but I'm quite veteran to the 'net itself, have been around, and have several other websites of my own. Including a Ranma 1/2 screenshot gallery, a DuckTales page, a Sonic the Hedgehog page, a Babylon 5 one, a gallery of my cartoon artwork and a gallery of my Discworld artwork--and I co-run a MSTings site, called "MSTing in Action". Yep, I've been around. :)

Now, as for Princess Maker, I only got into the series as of October 2003, and started watching Puchi Puri Yuushi in November. I don't speak/read Japanese, so the only game in the series I can play (well) is Princess Maker 2, because of the English Beta version that exists. (Unwisely, I have also tried Princess Maker 3 and Princess Maker: Legend of Another World--with, er...mixed results. :P) My favourite character is, yes, Cube, and he's the main reason I was so darn curious about the anime, too. If it was just an anime based off of the series that _didn't_ contain my favourite character, I would have thought, "Well, that's sort of interesting, I guess...I'll get to it later, when I have time..." but when I saw screenshots I HAD to watch the show for myself. :) I'm glad I did, because it's really quite funny and clever, and I don't JUST like Cube, but several other characters as well. In fact, _everybody_ has something to reccommend them so far--even the bad guys are interesting. The other main reason I like this show is because of the world it takes place in--the silly, colourful universe where mythologies are tossed together willy-nilly, magic exists alongside of technology, non-human races and magical creatures are common and nobody freaks if you happen to be a demon or an elf or something. The whole..._feel_ of it is just cool. So lighthearted, refreshing, and free.

About the real me? You want to know about the _real_ me, now? Well, I'm rather short (5'0"), with pale skin, waist-length medium-brown hair with coppery highlights, blue-grey-green eyes, sorta delicate features, and thin wire-framed glasses. I've been told the character I look the most like is Aeris, from Final Fantasy VII, if that gives you an idea. (shrug)
I'm way into science-fiction, fantasy, computer gaming, the Internet, D&D, Star Trek, and lots of other "nerdy" goodness--but somehow, people don't seem to _know_ I'm a nerd unless they happen to hit upon one of these subjects while talking. I guess I'm sort of a "closet nerd", then.
In addition to my anime/video games and other animation related stuff interests, I'm also way into British comedy (my favourite being the fantasy/humour series "Discworld" by Terry Pratchett) and, basically, I read way too much for my own good. I also draw, write humour, reviews and rants occasionally, make websites, and write stories--though I don't _finish_ them as often as I'd like...

And...that's me! Or at least as much about me as I feel like saying just now. :P
