Episode 2: "Rival Appears! Yuushi Goes to School"

Over the bridge... Yuushi and Cube prepare to cross the bridge (which is the furthest she's ever gone in town) for the first time, to get to her first day at the Princess Academy. Gulp.
"Of course I knew that!" snaps Yuushi, in response to Cube's nervous mentioning that "Er...Miss...I don't know how to say this, but...all the other girls look high-class, and rich." Of course our heroine can't be rich--everything would be too easy for her, then! ;)
New characters! What's this? It's another candidate for Platina Princess and Yuushi's worst rival--Grenda, Princess of Hell! (She's a demon, like Cube...but more the, well, _traditional_ sort, in terms of personality...) And behind her, her faithful--albeit a bit _freaky_--shapeshifting retainer, Gaga.
Cube: Male Model Extraordinnaire! Yeah, that's it, Cube, vogue it up for the camera... ;) In actuality, he was leaning back against the elephant (which one of the other girls arrived on) to take a little nap, and woke up, when he heard Grenda and Gaga's arrival, by opening just one eye first, then the other. It does kind of LOOK like he's "posing" on purpose, though...
"You traitor to all demons!" Grenda and Cube seem to know each other from before...and she is NOT happy to see him! (He knows Gaga too, actually.) She calls him a "traitor" on account of he's willingly working as a servant for (ick! yuck! phooey!) _humans_. Why _is_ he doing that, anyway...? Good question.
"Let go of me!" With a snap of her fingers, Grenda opens up a dark vortex behind Cube, summoning disembodied hands that grab our poor little demon-butler. What fiendish thing could she be plotting...?
It's TICKLE-TORTURE!! Dun dun dun!! (Actually, it IS pretty fiendish...poor Cube was stuck in this thing for HOURS, while Yuushi did _several_ classes' worth of school! I'm surprised he didn't go completely insane.) For those of you who saw a shot of Cube being "tickle-tortured" on KKPMC.net, this is _not_ the same one, stolen--I grabbed this one myself.
A young girl's dream... And what gets ME is the happy, bright-eyed, totally innocent _expression_ on her face while she SAYS such a thing, too! Gah!
Her dream is to "take over the world, then open up shops from Hell everywhere and be RICH, RICH, RICH, RICH!!" Well, everybody should have a hobby, as I always say...
"But, if you take over the world, what's the point of being rich?" somebody rightfully points out, thereby visibly popping Grenda's daydream bubble and sending it careening out the window. :P Rather irritated with this correction, Grenda prepares to do another one of her spells here...(and it makes _snakes_ appear in the dresses of all the other girls in the room).
"YOU'RE a candidate for Platina Princess, too? Don't make me laugh!" Grenda finds out that Yuushi is another candidate for the Tiara...and a great rivalry is born!
Art Class The result of 8 days of classes was: Art has raised by 10 points! Sensitivity has raised by 4 points! ;) NO, sorry, in-joke again...anyway, what's going on here is that Grenda is about to do a nasty little prank on the unsuspecting Yuushi, in art class. (Grenda snaps her fingers and makes a little cartoon "imp" thing appear on Yuushi's sketch, which then EATS the picture until the canvas is blank. Weird, ne?)
"AAAAA!!" Yuushi, as revenge, walks right over and scribbles all over Grenda's painting...and here Grenda just found out about it. Ha-ha!
Why'd it have to be snakes?! Another one of Grenda's pranks, this time in music class. (There was a bit of a montage sequence of the two of them doing pranks back and forth against each _other_, but I thought the ones of Grenda being bad were funnier than the ones of Yuushi getting her back, so...)
"Hmph!" Called on the carpet! The principal of the school--who, oh, didn't I mention?--also happens to be the QUEEN, calls both Yuushi and Grenda to her office; she has had ENOUGH of this petty bickering. (DATA: Could you please continue the petty bickering? I found it most intriguing.) She then sets them a quest--whoever can get the Crystal Flower from this garden up the mountain will stay at the school, the other will have to leave. Unfortunately I didn't get any shots from the contest part itself, but...
